Firewall Engineer - 3-month contract - Hybrid
As a Firewall Engineer specializing in Checkpoint firewalls, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the clients' networks.
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust firewall solutions to ensure the highest levels of security. Your expertise in Checkpoint firewall technology will be crucial in identifying and mitigating potential threats, ensuring seamless network performance, and providing top-notch support.
This Firewall Engineer role is Hybrid in one of their multiple sites across the UK (3 days onsite, 2 days from home)
Key experience required by the Firewall Engineer:
- Previous experience as a Security Engineer with a focus on Checkpoint firewalls
- Clear a list of legacy tasks related to Checkpoint firewalls.
- BAU activities relating to Checkpoint firewall
- Knowledge of Cusco would be beneficial
- Monitor and analyse network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct regular firewall audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of firewall solutions with existing network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues.
This Firewall Engineer role offers Hybrid working across multiple sites across the UK (Croxley, Northampton, Raunds, Runcorn, and Goole)
