PR Account Manager - Hotels and Restaurants

My client, a renowned agency in the travel and hospitality industry, is looking for an Account Manager to join the team. You'll have experience with hotels, restaurants and spas and come from an agency background. This person will be food and travel obsessed, with a strong book of contacts under their belt.
The Role:
- Working under the AD, you'll be helping to retain and build client relationships.
- Organise client meetings, briefings, and calendars
- Reach out to your contacts, and any new media relations to secure stories that meet the expectations of your client.
- Oversee creation of writing and content that meets the standard of your client's and agency.
- Manage junior team members, ensuring they meet KPI's
- Influencer outreach for event attendance and reviews
- Stay up to date with industry knowledge and trends
- Create campaigns and calendars for clients
- Attend meetings and events
The Person:
- Travel and hospitality obsessed
- At least 2 years experience in travel and hospitality
- Agency background is a must
- Experience of managing junior team members
- Very strong writing skills with creative ideation
- Extremely personable and organized.
- Ability to juggle multiple accounts and tasks.
- Ability to make and establish media contacts that convert to coverage
- Performance driven
