We are recruiting for a Marketing Manager in the Solihull area for an exciting new automotive brand that launched in the UK in November 2023. The manufacturer is a significant global player, with sales of over 1 million vehicles per annum. They are offering a unique opportunity to be part of a team that will shape and decide the destiny of a up and coming brand.

The automotive landscape is changing, from vehicle technology to the ways in which they are sold and purchased, there has never been a more exciting time to be part of this exciting journey.

Working across all aspects of marketing to include but not limited to, brand, creative, media, and social (Inc. dealer & aftersales), ensuring to deliver strong and relevant marketing to targeted audience groups, on time and on budget.

As a Marketing Manager you will need to have/be:

  • 4 years' experience within marketing department or marketing agency, preferably with motor industry experience
  • Degree educated preferably with a business or marketing background.
  • Experience in social media, its role in the marketing mix, and how to use it to best effect.
  • Ability to analyse data, formulate messaging and communicate information effectively.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • A strong interest in motor vehicles - Electric Vehicle experience is an advantage.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker and passionate about marketing.
  • Good knowledge and examples of success demonstrated in national & local Marketing.
  • Ability to influence others & challenge their views, whilst retaining their confidence and respect.
  • Strong, accurate and timely budgetary control.
  • Be able to handle several tasks at the same time being organised and structured.
  • Strong creative judgement.

  • Salary: £40, 000 - £45, 000
  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Role of a Marketing Manager:

  • Help develop, deliver and communicate a brand platform that meets the product and company objectives.
  • Help develop and deliver both the B2B and B2C customer journey in terms of seamless communication online and off-line.
  • Responsible for planning, tracking and analysing spend against set departmental budget, with Senior Business Partner
  • Deliver departmental KPIs in line with company objectives and product performance, with focus on driving enough leads to generate sales.
  • Ownership of the channel execution including ongoing calendar of national and regional marketing activities, supporting the delivery of a cohesive, cross channel marketing strategy.
  • To brief and manage agencies to ensure content meets the expectations of the brand platform.
  • Assist the production of artwork, images, videos, text that is required for all areas of the business.
  • Ensure national campaigns are effectively adapted and communicated for all relevant sales channels.
  • Responsible for sourcing and delivery of all paid media activity across traditional and digital channels.
  • Organising the brands inclusion in relevant Events, from identifying the opportunity through to event management and post event reviews.
  • To manage partnerships with individuals and organisations to maximise brand exposure.
  • Support with the maintenance of a brand websites.
  • Oversee the creation of required social media content and creative.
  • Working with the sales department to ensure retailers have the correct brand and marketing materials that is consistent with brand platform and national campaigns.
  • Support retail network with execution of local marketing activities in line with local objectives and national marketing campaigns.
  • To produce materials to promote Aftersales, Accessories and Parts sales.
  • Where necessary to coach and train staff/dealers on all elements of marketing.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging that is communicated externally.
  • Put in place measurements and reports to easily identify marketing effectiveness.
  • To produce management reports and presentations as when required by the senior management
