The role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality and Development Coach to enhance our teaching and assessment practices within the Apprenticeships and Work based Learning Directorate. The role involves coaching and supporting Vocational Coaches, developing staff pedagogy, and leading quality assurance processes. You will also contribute to ongoing professional development and the use of new technologies to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
Duties:
- Support and develop Vocational Coaches to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Lead training, coaching, and quality assurance activities.
- Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage and enhance internal quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure outstanding student experiences
Requirements:
- Proven experience in training and coaching, with up-to-date vocational knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications (TAQA, Teaching Qualification, GCSEs in English and Maths).
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and professional development.
What you need:
- A teaching qualification
- Hold an enhanced DBS
- MOS Certification
- Right to work in the UK
- Degree or Vast Subject Knowledge
- Experience delivering OCR Foundation
