Position: Housing Revenue Support Officer

Hourly Rate: £13.69 per hour
Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional with strong numeracy and data management skills? Join our Housing team as a Housing Revenue Support Officer and play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely management of direct debits and rent refunds for our housing tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the Direct Debit process: calculate payments and amend Direct Debits for rent account changes.
- Process rent refunds: calculate refunds, send claims, and handle refund requests.
- Maintain efficient rent administration systems, ensuring smooth rent-related operations.
Essential Skills:
- Strong numeracy and data management capabilities.
- Excellent planning, organising, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft and Google tools.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- A team player with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Confidentiality and a customer-friendly approach.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in housing finance, direct debit management, and welfare benefits.
- Knowledge of housing management systems, such as Orchard (MRI).
