Salary : £28,000 - £36,000
Shift pattern : Rotating shifts - 06:00-14:00 / 14:00:22:00
Role Description
Interaction are supporting our client with their recruitment for a Lithographic Print Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly skilled and experienced printing team. Youll work closely with the print minder and produce printed cartons and sleeves.
The candidate would work on the state-of-the-art Komori printing press.
Full training will be provided, but print experience is preferable.
The environment is very fast-paced and they have created a very lively atmosphere. Youll be joining a friendly team who have a good time at work, but also are hardworking, so you need to have the same characteristics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation of our Lithographic printing press as required to print various Cartons and sleeves.
- Work with the the Print Minder tackling all tasks requested.
- Organise systems to ensure all jobs for print shift are ready.
- Organise raw materials ready for Print run.
- Ensure daily production schedules are met.
- Comply to procedures to meet BRC standards.
- Assist with the Daily maintenance /cleaning and care of the press and equipment.
- Communicate with all members of the business.
Skills & Requirements
- A pro-active, positive attitude is required
- An excellent team-working ethic.
- Diligent and attentive to detail.
- 1 Year Lithographic print experience is preferred, although not essential.
