Part-time Operations Co-Ordinator - Private Members Leisure & Sports Grounds - £20.5k for 30-hour week inc. breaks - Central London

This private membership facility is located in central London, and is a private park that offers beautiful grounds and sports facilities such as tennis courts, cricket pitch, walking and dog walking, lovely gardens and vast grounds for events etc. This is all located within a quiet and peaceful private park that attracts a lot of members and visitors for events and general walking and sports activities. Demand for access cards / membership is high and the eco structure is quite delicate, so this charity/heritage site carefully balance the usage and impose rules so that all members can enjoy the area.

SALARY ETC:

  • £20,487 + excellent benefits
  • Part-time, Permanent (30-hours a week including breaks) Days and hours can be flexible to fit in with the person.
  • Mainly office based hours, Monday to Friday, however occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for large events, but this is not a regular occurrence.
  • Central SW London

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience within the hospitality and / or leisure / membership sector ideally in an operational role.
  • Can demonstrate experience of working with CRM software / databases.
  • Highly organised, practical and proactive so as to be able to coordinate effectively and juggle multiple tasks consecutively.
  • The ability to work independently and in a busy and dynamic team.
  • The ability to clearly communicate in written and spoken English via several different communication channels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a confident demeanour
  • A proven ability to effectively interact with clients.
  • Service oriented style with professional presentation skills.
  • Effective in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Account management for users / suppliers of the facilities.
  • Contractual and financial processing.
  • Develop existing relationships through regular face-to-face meetings.
  • Being the main POC for all enquiries and queries re usage of the facilities and grounds other than by members. This requires a professional, friendly, and engaging individual.
  • Management of all H&S documentation and communication for key accounts ensuring all policies and procedures are up to date and relevant and hirers have a detailed understanding prior to coming on site.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Coordinating diary for events and fixtures.
  • Event operations coordination for activities and events alongside Event managers where necessary.
  • Managing of staffing, security and agency for bookings.
  • Collaborate with and Deputise for the Manager with regards to membership of 600 plus members.
  • Database administration support including data input.
  • Supporting the Head of Events in delivering Marketing and communication in line with overall strategy and in conjunction with members programme
