An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and adaptable Executive Assistant to join one of the top-ranked Research departments globally. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, providing valuable support to super sector teams and implementing client strategy across the Equity Research department. The successful candidate will be based in the vibrant location of Canary Wharf, London.

Team Profile:

As part of our dynamic research department, you will work closely with senior analysts and the client connectivity team, contributing to the implementation of client strategies and enhancing our overall market presence. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive client engagement, while also managing complex schedules and travel arrangements.

What you'll do:

As a Super Sector Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting your team and enhancing client connectivity. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working closely with your team to draft and maintain an up-to-date marketing plan, managing marketing schedules, and coordinating with sales for their execution. You will centralise list management for your super sector while running client connect campaigns. Your role will also involve supporting new client initiatives, attending weekly team meetings, understanding the client base, and executing group events & conferences. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach.

  • Work collaboratively with the super sector teams
  • Draft and maintain an accurate up-to-date marketing plan with your team
  • Proactively manage and arrange marketing schedules liaising directly with clients
  • Liaise with sales on the coordination and execution of marketing schedules
  • Centralise list management for the super sector
  • Run client connect campaigns for the super sector
  • Support the super sector on all new client initiatives
  • Attend weekly team meetings and provide client updates/information
  • Understand the client base and use tools to improve client connectivity
  • Execute group events & conferences in collaboration with the client connectivity team

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Super Sector Executive Assistant position brings a wealth of experience from previous PA/EA roles within financial services or other blue-chip environments. You possess excellent organisational skills, with an ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Your advanced knowledge of Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will be crucial in this role. Experience in project management would be advantageous but is not essential. Above all, you are a team player with a fantastic 'can do' attitude and commitment to delivering the best service to clients.

  • Experience in a previous PA/EA role within financial services or other blue-chip environment is essential
  • Knowledge of Research and/or Equities is highly desirable
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels of the Research Department and Equities
  • Excellent organisational/prioritisation skills - ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Good commercial awareness and experience working within a Roadshow/Events function would be beneficial
  • Advanced knowledge of all Office applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Knowledge of CRM preferable but not essential
  • Experience in project management desirable, but not essential
