The school are looking for x5 Speech and Language Assistant a to support pupils with a wide variation of needs including Autism (ASD), PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), Speech and Language (SP&L), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and more! Any Aspiring Assistant Psychotherapist will have the opportunity to work alongside truly world-class; Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychotherapists, CAMHS Link Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO) and Specialist on-site teachers, all of which have multiple years industry experience!

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Aspiring Assistant Psychotherapist - perfect for Psychology Graduates!
- Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis (ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L and more)
- Liaising with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding the progress of children
- Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children
- Delivering specialist interventions
- Liaising with the school's therapists
- September 2024 start - Long Term - Full Time - Sept 24 - July 25
- £105 - £110 per day
- Located in the Borough of Harrow
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Speech and Language Assistant - perfect for Psychology Graduates!
- Childcare-related experience, particularly with a SEN focus - Ideal
- You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
- A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
- Experience of supporting children (4-18) with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L - Ideal
- Future career ambitions to become an Ed Psych, Clin Psych, Therapist, Well Being Practitioner etc
