P4 Recruitment are recruiting for a Support Worker/Project Worker to join a charity client on a temporary, ongoing basis. As a Support worker/Project Worker you will play a crucial role in providing emergency accommodation and support to rough sleepers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Caseload Management: Handle a diverse caseload, offering assertive, consistent, and personalised advice and support tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Client Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments and meet the immediate needs of clients, no matter when they enter the HUB.
- Partnership Collaboration: Network with partner agencies, contribute to multi-agency groups, and complete referrals to ensure clients receive comprehensive support.
- Risk Management: Perform risk assessments for all clients, conducting regular reviews in accordance with our risk management protocols.
- Administrative Duties: Compile statistics, progress reports, and maintain accurate records of caseloads. Monitor and evaluate work, updating databases and reviewing client progress using evidence-based tools.
- Service Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance project services, particularly for homeless and vulnerable individuals in Preston.
- Crisis Management: Handle complex and challenging situations effectively, providing support to clients with mental health and complex needs.
- Housing Knowledge: Apply an understanding of housing issues and regulations to support clients effectively.
- Coordination: Collaborate with multiple agencies and individuals to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Mental Health Support: Proven experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges and/or clients with substance misuse issues, providing tailored advice and guidance.
- Case Management: Proficiency in case work, including managing case management systems.
- Administrative Skills: Experience in administrative tasks such as data compilation, statistics, and report generation.
- Housing Expertise: Knowledge of housing issues and relevant regulations.
- Multi-Agency Coordination: Ability to liaise with and coordinate the efforts of various agencies and individuals.
- Crisis Management: Skilled in managing complex and challenging situations effectively.
