Blackburn International (UK) Limited are an entertainment agency providing guest entertainers and production shows for the cruise line industry.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are seeking a part time Accounts Assistant to work in our busy Finance Department. We require an individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Outline of duties
- Weekly and monthly invoicing according to the cruise line specifications
- Processing of receipts in USD and GBP
- Weekly payment run's
- Analysis of credit card payments
- Credit control – producing monthly statements and chasing as necessary
- Dealing with incoming emails
- Processing of purchase invoices
Requirements
- MS office including excel
- Knowledge of Sage Line 50 an advantage
- Understanding of accounting transactions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
This role requires 20-25 hours per week, which can be worked over 3-5 days depending on the candidates' requirements. Ideally there would also be flexibility to work more hours to cover holidays when required.
Initially this role will be office based, in our Camberley office, however after a probationary period, there will be an option to work from home, 1 day a week.
