We are currently searching for a Fully remote experienced Management accountant for a growing UK brand.

Job Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis.
- Analyse financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budget plans and monitor budget performance.
- Analyse budget variances and provide explanations and recommendations to management.
3. Cost Analysis and Management:
- Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve cost efficiency.
- Monitor and analyse costs related to production, operations, and projects.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes.
4. Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis.
- Participate in the development of long-term financial plans and goals.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
5. Audit and Compliance:
- Lead and manage the internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and information as requested to external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
Skillset
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, Financial Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. ACCA, CIMA, AAT or other relevant certification is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
