Development & Sales Accountant

This role involves the provision of financial expertise in the not-for-profit and charities sector, specifically in Development and Sales Accounting. In this role you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of financial services for the Development and Sales activities of the organisation.

Client Details

Description

  • To produce monthly reconciliations and notes to the financial statements, ensuring that financial and accounting records are accurately reflected in the accounting systems.
  • To act as a financial lead for your projects in supporting Development and the business through the governance process.
  • Business partner with our internal stakeholders to ensure accurate project appraisal models and receipt of timely information.
  • To assist in the production of annual statutory financial statements, notes to statements and to liaise with external auditors during interim and annual audits.
  • To assist in the coordination and the production of annual budgets with the relevant budget holders. Provide quarterly forecast of expected outturn and assisting in monitoring their budgets.

Profile

A successful Development & Sales Accountant should have:

  • Excellent communication skills with proven business partnering experience
  • experience with Agresso Unit 4 and/or Open Accounts
  • Advanced IT skills including Excel and Financial Information Systems
  • Independent working.
