Office Manager

Join a busy IT company as an Office Manager to help with various office-based duties.

THE OFFICE MANAGER JOB:

This role will involve supporting existing members in our valuable administration team, and duties will include:

  • HR including tracking CVs, liaising with recruitment firms, placing adverts online, arranging interviews and managing the hiring process.
  • Staff Induction planning and initial paperwork / handbook briefing chats.
  • Coordinating Staff Appraisals and Tracking Action Points afterwards to ensure everything is followed up.
  • Working to ensure everyone has a training plan and is progressing on it.
  • Ordering office supplies and sundries.
  • Arranging plumbers, carpet cleaners, joiners and such as needed to keep the building in good condition.
  • Liaising with staff regarding office building issues or general working environment.
  • Assisting with other members of the Admin Team to ensure smooth running of the business.
  • Working with external Health & Safety company to ensure compliance and best practice.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous Office Manager experience.
  • Confident and well-spoken.
  • Good IT skills around Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
  • Great organisational skills and can keep organised and focused even under the pressure of a busy office.
  • Must live local to Edinburgh.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • £25,000 - £30,000 (based on skills and experience).
