Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Southampton
Working Pattern: Office Based
Salary: £16 per hour (10-12 month, temp role)
JGA are partnered with a leading business that are seeking a Payroll Administrator on a temporary basis to process their payroll.
You will be responsible for:
- Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data while maintaining strict confidentiality and following established policies and procedures.
- Address employee inquiries regarding salary, deductions, attendance, time records, pensions, and AVCs, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
- Manage payroll processes for new hires and leavers, ensuring deadlines are met, statutory payments and deductions are accurately processed, and all integrity checks are completed.
- Produce weekly reports, handle employment references, and fulfil ad-hoc analysis requests as needed by Senior Management.
What You'll Need:
- Extensive experience as a payroll administrator with strong knowledge of Income Tax, NI, SSP, and statutory payroll payments.
- Highly trustworthy and committed to maintaining confidentiality in all payroll matters.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing.
- Strong communication abilities and proficiency in manual Gross to Net calculations.
