Group HR Manager

I am partnering exclusively with my client, based in Warrington in their search for a Group HR Manager. In this role you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business through the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the company-wide goals and objectives. You will be working for a company driven by their core values that put their people at the heart of what they do.You will ensure consistency and compliance in HR practices, fostering a positive work culture and enhancing employee engagement. Your responsibilities will span the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations.

Strategic HR Management - providing strategic HR direction and support to the Group and regional Senior Leadership teams, developing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws.

Talent Management - driving the recruitment processes, including talent sourcing, screening, and selection, overseeing onboarding, ensuring new hires integrate smoothly into the company.

Employee Relations - fostering a positive work culture through effective employee relations programs, managing complex ER cases and Performance Improvement Plans

Performance and Development - implementing performance management systems to enhance individual and team performance, overseeing training and development initiatives, addressing skill gaps and providing HR-related training

HR Operations and Compliance - conducting HR audits and analysing metrics to identify trends and improvements, managing employee compensation and benefits, ensuring industry competitiveness

Leadership and Project Management - leading HR projects, including the implementation of new systems and training matrices, managing the HR budget, demonstrating cost-effectiveness and strategic resource allocation.

Stakeholder Collaboration - working with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, developing and maintaining relationships with external partners such as recruitment agencies

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Proven experience as an HR professional
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
  • Expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training
  • Leadership skills with a track record of developing HR teams and driving results
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HR solutions
  • Ability to work flexibly across regions and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing at all business levels
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion
