This opportunity within UK&I Systems (Compass) will be supporting the UK&I Head of Systems in managing key vendor data into Foodbuy systems, interacting with both Suppliers and Internal Foodbuy Functions.

The role is to ensure all data is complete and set up correctly as it enters our business. Validating data submitted by our suppliers and manufacturers, and quality assurance measures to give confidence to Compass that data isn't missing or unreliable. This will cover such areas as supplier submission of catalogue data with nutrition and allergen information. Prior nutrition experience or training is not required. Full training will be provided for the role.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Gathering key data, specifically including nutritional and allergen information, from our suppliers
  • Become a subject matter expert in the data, its sources and the journey from system to reporting thereof
  • Ensuring all data that's required is being received in a timely manner, in the correct format.
  • Broader support on key business wide projects – example data system enhancements.
  • Providing assistance to suppliers on the Supplier Portal to help them complete their targeted data tasks
  • Continually expand knowledge on the system modules and functionality to promote maximum assistance to suppliers.
