Children's Home Manager

Location: Burton on Trent
Salary: Up to £49,000 (depending on experience) plus bonuses

Our client is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a new children's residential service in Burton on Trent. This service is designed to support children and young people with learning disabilities, providing them with a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's residential home.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and support for children and young people with learning disabilities.
  • Lead and supervise a team of dedicated care professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, achieving a good or outstanding grade in Ofsted inspections.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, families, staff, and external agencies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recent experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential service supporting children and young people with learning disabilities.
  • Minimum Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in leading and supervising a team within a residential childcare setting.
  • A track record of achieving a good or outstanding grade in recent Ofsted inspections.
  • Full UK manual driving license.
