Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and creative CAD Designer who is a wizard with SolidWorks and SWOOD. Your role will be pivotal in bringing our bespoke designs to life, ensuring every project meets our exacting standards. You will work closely with our design and manufacturing teams to produce detailed, high-quality drawings and models that translate seamlessly from concept to reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development:

  • Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks and SWOOD for high-end interior fit-out projects.

  • Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and practical design solutions.

  • Ensure all designs meet the company's quality standards and client specifications.

  • Project Coordination:

  • Work closely with project managers and the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.

  • Participate in project meetings to discuss design concepts, modifications, and updates.

  • Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Technical Expertise:

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of SolidWorks and SWOOD capabilities and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve design and software issues promptly.

  • Continuously improve design processes and contribute to the development of new design standards.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and models to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Implement feedback from the design and manufacturing teams to refine and perfect designs.

  • Ensure all design documentation is maintained and organized systematically.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CAD Designer with a focus on high-end interior fit-outs.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and SWOOD is essential.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent technical drawing and 3D modeling skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Degree or diploma in CAD Design, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
