My client based in Long Crendon is looking for a driven and proactive sales rep, with 3-5 years B2B sales experience, who is passionate about sales and business development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of personal sales success and managing customer relationships. You will have the ability to build and maintain a strong pipeline and possess excellent commercial acumen. You will also need to be highly self-motivated with excellent communication skills and be a natural negotiator with strong influencing skills.

This role will include regular national travel and the main purpose is to facilitate the sale of products and services to ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales. Along with current product line sales, you will be responsible for new product launches and collaborate with all internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.

Salary is 32-35k basic, and with uncapped commission this is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing company! Benefits include company car, and an attractive bonus system.

Duties include:

  • Requirement to understand and keep up to date in relation to the company's products
  • Proactively drive business development, identifying and developing opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and leads
  • Meeting with clients during sales visits (regular Business travels are involved across the country)
  • Demonstrating and presenting the products to the customers
  • Undertake sales activities including cost negotiations and discounts, creating and sending quotes and account management
  • Establish personal contact and rapport with top decision-makers as well as counter staff
  • Carry on building up customers data base
  • Create customers profiles for internal use
  • Collaborate with all internal teams as required to deliver excellent customer service
  • Provide accurate reports for the Managing Director and the team members
  • Accurately provide sales forecast information for annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
  • Bring up new ideas for the Marketing Team to support the Brand development

Ideal candidate

  • Proven track record in the Automotive refinish or Wood sector is preferable
  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
  • Great commercial acumen
  • High self-motivation
  • An intermediate level of IT literacy
  • High standard of written English
  • A Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
  • A proven track record of personal sales success and the desire to continue
  • A proven track record of developing new business and growing existing accounts
  • The ability to build and maintain a strong pipeline
  • Willingness to National travel
  • Experience in automotive, wood, metal or marine industry will be considered as an advantage
