We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our dynamic team in Bradford BD9. This part-time role, scheduled for three days a week (Monday to Wednesday), offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and supportive educational environment. The position is initially for the Autumn term from September 2024 to December 2024, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress through formative and summative assessments.
  • Attend parents' evenings and staff meetings as required.
  • Participate actively in the school community, contributing to the positive ethos and culture.
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
  • Exceptional subject knowledge and a passion for Maths.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and the capacity to use initiative.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to make lessons fun and engaging for students.
