This position is for an Interim Executive Director of Finance and Resources who will contribute to the strategic leadership and management of a Not For Profit organisation. Based remotely with occasional UK travel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Accounting & Finance department while driving financial strategies and resource management.

Description

  • Provide strategic leadership and management for the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
  • Participate in the development of the organisation's plans and programmes as a strategic partner.
  • Enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures by way of systems that will improve overall operation and effectiveness.
  • Work with the Board of Directors and the Chief Executive Officer to ensure the financial integrity of the organisation.
  • Develop and manage direct staff, to include managers, supervisors, professionals, and support staff.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, the introduction of new programmes, and regulatory action.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Director ideally from within a not for profit organisation.
  • Previous and proven experience of leading a business through a phase of change and transformation
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Comfortable and confident working with a senior leadership team

Job Offer
