About Us: We are a leading supplier, designer, and fitter of furniture and equipment for the education sector. Renowned for our innovative solutions and high-quality installations, we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee our projects from concept to completion.

About the Role: As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of furniture and equipment projects in educational settings. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of furniture and equipment fit-out projects in educational institutions.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and provide regular updates.
  • Work closely with designers, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project risks, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager in the education sector, specialising in furniture and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Professional membership of a recognised project management institution (desirable).
