A key central government body in London are seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Resourcing Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the resourcing strategy, ensuring the efficient and effective recruitment and retention of top talent to support our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resourcing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive resourcing strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing and onboarding.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior management, department heads, and HR teams to understand resourcing needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Recruitment Campaigns: Design and manage recruitment campaigns to attract high-calibre candidates, utilizing various channels including social media, job boards, and recruitment agencies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment function.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and government policies.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Promote and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process to ensure a diverse workforce.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and service providers, ensuring value for money and high-quality service.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and report on key recruitment metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Interim Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the resourcing team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience:

Proven experience in a senior resourcing or recruitment role, preferably within central government

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of resourcing strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
