We are looking for a mainstream primary school teacher in central Sheffield who is willing to provide PPA cover across the whole school from reception up to Year 6. The school is based out of BD 4 area into a full time position. Part time options are also available.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver captivating and interactive lessons that align with the curriculum, sparking curiosity among children.
  • Foster positive connections with children and establish an imaginative and inspiring classroom atmosphere.
  • Innovate and employ diverse teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs of all children in the class.
  • Coordinate and engage in stimulating extracurricular and in-class activities that enhance children participation and success.
  • Cultivate positive and constructive relationships with the parents or caregivers of children, ensuring transparency and progress tracking for all.

Requirements:

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrate a deep enthusiasm for teaching and nurturing curiosity among children.
  • Bring prior teaching experience to the role.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to acquire one through Randstad).
  • Exhibit robust behaviour management abilities, capable of guiding and assisting children with diverse learning capabilities throughout lessons.
  • Display notable patience and adept time management skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
  • Maintain exceptional communication capabilities, cultivating effective relationships with children, support staff, and parents or caregivers.
