We are seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer to join our team in Cardiff office. This role involves providing specialist legal advice and assistance in the field of Commercial Property, supporting the Head of Department and Partners. The ideal candidate will manage their own caseload, ensuring professional standards and internal quality requirements are met, while also contributing to the firm's client base and cross-selling opportunities.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Manage an agreed caseload of clients, providing appropriate advice and assistance in accordance with professional standards.
- Process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis, ensuring prompt billing and collection of outstanding balances.
- Develop and maintain excellent client and commercial contact relationships, enhancing the firm's client base.
- Achieve individual new business, financial, and completion targets.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell services and contribute to the firm's growth.
- Use correct procedures and systems to manage cases effectively, with minimal supervision.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or equivalent and postgraduate qualification(s).
- Qualified Solicitor or relevant experience in Commercial Property to justify non-qualification.
- Proven track record in client management and fee earning within Commercial Property.
- Recent experience handling client enquiries both face-to-face and by telephone.
- Desirable: Client/contacts following, working knowledge of case management systems, computer and software literacy with good keyboard skills, and commitment to personal & professional development.
