The School is looking for a Maths Teacher, potentially with additional responsibilities, to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in nurturing mathematical literacy and confidence across Key Stages 2 to 4. We welcome both experienced professionals and aspiring educators who are passionate about working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Develop and deliver a Maths curriculum that is engaging and accessible to students with varying abilities.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment where pupils can enhance their mathematical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's vision of nurturing aspiration, developing resilience, and empowering learning.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to further enhance teaching skills and SEN expertise.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Maths or a related subject.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching Maths and inspiring students.
  • Experience in SEN settings or a strong desire to work in one.
  • Talent, passion, and innovation in teaching.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivation, reliability, and a positive team player attitude.
