Due to continued growth, my client who operates Worldwide is now recruiting for 4 Stores Assistants to join their Manufacturing facility, based close to Wakefield. The successful Stores Assistant will play a critical part in supporting the business as it grows, you will rotate between goods in, picking & packing and stock control, this is a high peace environment and can be at times physically demanding.

Stores Assistant Responsibilities:
- Document the receipt of inbound parts, correct placement for stock locations, pick, pack, and dispatch orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure all parts are correctly labelled with storage location and logged on system.
- Operate machinery, handling equipment & unload vehicles.
- Assist with regular stock takes.
Stores Assistant Requirements:
- The successful candidate must have a strong logistics, warehouse, or stores experience.
- Be self-motivated, hardworking and physically fit.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ideally hold a valid forklift licence.
- Flexible and willing to learn new skills.
- Ideally you will have SAP experience or similar inhouse computerised stock system.
Stores Assistant Benefits:
- Salary £27,248
- Monday to Thursday 7am - 4.30pm & Friday 7am - 1.30pm
- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
