Business Travel Consultant - required for this expanding business travel company who are looking for someone to join their Marine, Oil and Gas team based in Scotland. This is a 12-month fixed term contract and will be assisting a wide variety of clients within the Marine, Oil & Gas sector with a variety of European and Worldwide flights, hotels and transfers, whilst offering a high level of service over the phone and by email. This role will be working Monday-Friday shifts between 8.30am-6pm and offers a salary £38k and candidates must be able to work hybrid or full office based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Suitable candidates must have some experience working in Marine, Oil and Gas, with experience using Amadeus, although other gds experience would be considered.
Business Travel Consultants duties
-Working on mixed Marine, Oil & Gas accounts booking UK, European and Worldwide business travel arrangements
-Booking flights, car hire and hotels using a GDS ideally Amadeus
-Providing visa advice
-Working to the clients travel policy finding the most cost effective travel option available
-Making changes and amendments and reissues
Business Travel Consultants skills required
-Business travel consultant experience with some exposure to Marine, Oil and Gas accounts
-Strong GDS knowledge either Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre
-Hours Monday- Friday 8.30am-6pm (2 shift patterns)
-Available for a 12 month fixed term contract
