2 Days ( 15 Hours (2 x 8am-4pm) Office Based & 2 Days (22 Hrs) Shift Work
2 days Office :
PCS update ( write care Plan & review) and carryout weekly/monthly audits.
- To carryout appraisals of staff, identify training needs.
- Develop proposals to improve the marketing of the Home to maintain high occupancy.
2-3 days Shift Work :
- Assist clients with all aspects of their personal care needs as required including: Bathing, washing, dressing and undressing.
- To be in charge of your team and manage the floor.
- Keep records up to date, ensuring all recording is accurate
- Participate in the homes activities internally and externally
- Participate in training courses as arranged
- Use appropriate infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide support to relatives and friends
- Assist in maintaining client records and carryout care audits.
- Attend all training sessions as required
- Liaise with GP, Care Professionals, Local Authorities and other clinical authorities.
- Carryout medications in line with the requirements and medication policy.
- To participate in any other duties which may be required from time to time
PROFESSIONAL ATRIBUTES
- Able to identify signs of emotional physical problems.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
- Aware of the homes fire procedures.
- Experience of caring for the elderly with Dementia and at times Challenging behaviour.
Covering Manager while on absence.
KEY SKILLS-QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience working as a senior carer in Care Sector or in a Hospital Environment.
- Clinical knowledge or clinical background.
- NVQ 2/3 or equalling qualifications or studying towards a managing career.
