Vacancy Description:

As a Social Media Marketing Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence across various platforms including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, encouraging user interaction, responding to comments, and producing social media videos that showcase our brand and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain active profiles on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Generate creative content to increase follower engagement and brand awareness.
  • Monitor social media trends and competitors to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Produce compelling social media videos that highlight our products and services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective strategies and campaigns.

Qualities and Skills Required:

  • On-Camera Presence: Comfortable being on camera and creating voiceovers for content.
  • Proactive Initiative: Ability to independently achieve social media goals.
  • Industry Interest: A passion for the automotive industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail in content creation and social media management.
  • Effective Communication: Strong written English skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Practical Thinking: Common sense and logical thinking to navigate various social media scenarios.
  • Relevant Experience: Ideally, some prior experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
