Customer Liaison Officer

Location:

North Solihull with travel required to sites around the area.

Salary:

£30,296 - £34,834 per annum (£15.53 - £17.86 per hour)

Full time (Temporary 3 month contract)

We are currently partnering with a prestigious client to recruit a Customer Liaison Officer for their Asset Management Directorate. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective communication and support for residents during repair and improvement works.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with contractors and in-house teams to ensure smooth site operations and fulfillment of customer liaison responsibilities.
  • Develop and manage communication for materials (e.g., letters, newsletters, social media) related to repair and improvement projects.
  • Conduct direct visits to residents to explain works, understand their needs, and coordinate appointments and access arrangements.
  • Manage customer satisfaction and complaints to corporate standards, providing relevant management information.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address specific needs and adjust communication and practices as necessary.
  • Support engagement activities and optimize participation opportunities arising from ongoing projects.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, financial regulations, and data protection requirements.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in customer service within a demanding environment, ideally within social housing or similar sectors.
  • Knowledge of housing improvement practices and local authority procedures is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage complaints and resolve issues to satisfactory outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new systems as required.
  • A valid driving license and access to a car are essential due to the operational demands of the role.
