Job Title: Material Controller
Location: Goole
Contract Details: Temporary, 3 months initially with possibility for 6-month rolling extensions
Salary: £15.34/hr

Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and monitor the ordering of materials through the production cycle
- Liaise heavily with the purchasing and materials department
- Provide materials availability for projects and fleets
- No budget control
- Act as the main point of contact for Project and Fleet Managers
The Material Controller will be responsible for stock requirements and will have experience in SAP for data input, system use, and review. They will check supplier stock levels, cross-check stock internally, and handle internal communication. Booking in collections for packages of materials and scheduling orders will also be part of the role. The Material Controller will manage stock inventory, maintain shipping records, and possess FLT experience for occasional forklift operation when required.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience:
- Experience in Stores, Warehouse, or material control
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation
- IT literacy, particularly in MS Office Applications and SAP
Desirable Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience:
- Forklift licence (ideally, but not a requirement as training can be provided)
