Graduate Acoustic Consultant
An established independent acoustic consultancy with over 50 years of experience is seeking a Junior Acoustic Consultant. This consultancy specialises in a wide range of acoustic services, including architectural and building acoustics, environmental noise management, and providing expert input on planning issues related to sound and acoustics. Their extensive expertise and proven track record have positioned them as a credible organization in the acoustics sector.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in acoustic engineering or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in conducting sound and noise surveys.
- Membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Valid UK driver's licence.
Responsibilities:
- Compile technical data from assessments to generate comprehensive reports.
- Conduct surveys and evaluations on noise and vibration using modelling software.
- Cultivate effective communication channels and sustain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Work closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project delivery and adherence to deadlines.
