SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a graduate who can provide social, emotional and academic support to a young boy in Year 5?

Are you a compassionate graduate looking to make a meaningful difference in a child's life? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a young boy in Year 5 at a welcoming primary school in the Ward of Selly Oak.

  • ** SEN Teaching Assistant
  • ** £350 - £400 per week
  • ** Primary School, Ward of Selly Oak
  • ** Immediate start until July 2025
  • ** 1:1 support with a child in Year 5 (Autism, ADHD, EBD)

In this role, you will provide crucial support to a child with Autism, ADHD, and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). You will be responsible for assisting with the child's social, emotional, and academic development, ensuring they thrive in the classroom environment.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies that help the pupil reach their full potential. Your role will be key in creating a supportive, positive space where the child feels understood and encouraged.

We are looking for a graduate who is patient, empathetic, and passionate about working with children who have additional needs. While previous experience in a similar role or knowledge of SEN support is desirable, it is not essential—what matters most is your commitment to helping the child succeed.

If you're ready to embark on a rewarding journey and make a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.
