Recoveries Handler

R13 Recruitment are currently partnering with an insurance specialist in their search for an experienced Recoveries Handler to join their growing team in South Norfolk. Working within the recoveries team, who work collaboratively to ensure seamless service, your role will be to communicate with the client ensuring they are providing an exemplary service when it comes to recovery/on-hire services.

This is a full-time, permanent role working on a rota basis working between 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday, 38.5 hours per week, and will be considered on a remote basis with occasional travel to head office. The offered salary is up to £28,000 depending on experience.

The day to day

  • Taking responsibility for your own account of cases.
  • Dealing with various aspects of recovery.
  • Providing clients with accurate updates on the process of their claims.
  • Accurately signposting the client where needed.
  • Obtaining any relevant documentation from clients.
  • Using the internal case management system, ensuring this is up to date and accurate.
  • Investigating liability disputes.
  • General administrative duties related to your role.

You will have/be

  • Experience within On Hire / Recoveries is essential.
  • High levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills coupled with the ability to effectively prioritise workload.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a high-pressured environment.
  • Capability to persuade and influence.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • A professional and honest approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
