Payroll Manager

I am working with a firm of Chartered Accountants operating in Whitby and the surrounding area.

They are looking for a Payroll Manager for their Whitby office.

As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll process, for our clients payrolls. You will also be responsible for maintaining employee payroll records, handling payroll taxes, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Extensive experience in payroll management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software
  • Excellent understanding of payroll laws and regulations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all payroll-related tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Hours 9:00-5:30 one hour for lunch, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

You would be dealing with 200+ payrolls of varying sizes including both monthly, 4 weekly and weekly.

They currently use SAGE payroll.
