First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking an Inspector for their client who are a well-known name within the Oil & Gas industry based in Aberdeen.
The Inspector will be responsible for the inspection, evaluation, and certification of oil and gas equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity, reliability, and safety of our client's equipment and operations.
The Role:
- Conduct thorough inspections of oil and gas equipment including pipelines, storage tanks, drilling rigs, and processing facilities.
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant inspections.
- Identify and document any defects, damages, or non-compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and certifications.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Qualifications:
- ASNT II or PCN Magnetic Particle Inspection Certificate (Essential)
- ASNT II or PCN Dye Penetrant Inspection (Essential)
- ASNT II or PCN Ultrasonic (Ideal)
- Minimum 2 years Inspection Experience
