The Pricing and Data Officer is responsible for managing and analysing data related to pricing and performance across our Client's Frameworks and Contracts. While the primary focus will be on material provision, you will work collaboratively with all teams and on various frameworks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data handling.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update supplier quarterly price files, identifying discrepancies and creating comparison reports.
  • Conduct benchmarking and pricing exercises for clients, liaising with suppliers to resolve queries and ensure timely project completion.
  • Analyse monthly material spend reports to confirm contracted pricing is applied consistently, identifying discrepancies and preparing client-specific reports.
  • Prepare, verify and distribute monthly material spend and sales reports, showing framework performance and price changes to clients, suppliers, and manufacturers.
  • Compile pricing schedules following tenders or price reviews, calculating uplifts and ensuring schedule accuracy.
  • Support the Procurement Team in evaluating pricing for new frameworks, comparing prices, identifying errors and addressing abnormal pricing.
  • Collaborate with material suppliers to ensure all pricing and spend data is accurate and delivered within deadlines.
  • Extract and compile data for contractor review meetings using the CRM system.
  • Assist various teams with data inquiries, providing advice and ensuring the integrity of the client's data is maintained.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new IT systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manipulate, clean and present data.
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Experience in spend analysis and extracting meaningful data using various tools and systems.
  • Ability to present clear, user-friendly data reports.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and databases as analytical tools.
