IT Systems Training Lead

  • Southampton, Hampshire. Hybrid. 2/3 days onsite.
  • £50,000 to £55,000 + generous benefits, dependent on experience
  • 12 month fixed term contract

A new opportunity to play a key role in the implementation and training of key systems and processes at one of the UK's leading universities. We are seeking a Training Lead, for a 12-month fixed term contract, to shape the future of a new university student record system.

You will have the skills and expertise to lead on training design and delivery. You will manage and oversee the development of specialist training to University-wide stakeholders through recruitment and management of training resources to deliver a range of outputs including;

  • Super user training,
  • In-person/hybrid training sessions (tailored with focus on individual teams' needs & processes),
  • Drop-in (Q&A-style) sessions to reinforce knowledge,
  • User guides and FAQs,
  • E-learning and online material.

Summary of skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience of managing delivery of effective training to users of IT systems in a commercial or higher education environment.

  • Experienceof...

  • using web content management systems.

  • developing and delivering both process and systems training.

  • delivering easily accessible knowledge centres/repositories of resources including user guides and instructional videos.

  • Experience with team leadership, setting best practice and advising on company wide strategy for systems training.

  • Knowledge of ITIL, Prince 2 and/or any other formal certifications in process, project or training methodology.
