At Insure Recruitment we are currently engaged by a leading insurance firm to identify a highly skilled Broking Manager to join their accomplished general commercial broking team. This team includes a property specialist division with a Deputy Broking Manager and 14 Account Handlers, all dedicated to delivering exceptional service and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a comprehensive broking service to existing customers, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards of service.
  • Actively assist in securing new clients by leveraging your expertise and understanding of the market.
  • Drive the efficiency and profitability of the broking department by monitoring and optimising systems that support operational processes.
  • Maintain an in-depth and ongoing understanding of customer requirements, ensuring that service delivery consistently exceeds expectations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ideally, candidates should possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English language and maths.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications (Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII), are highly desirable. Compliance certifications may also be beneficial.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence clients and team members alike.
  • Sharp analytical skills to monitor and optimise operational systems, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.
  • A deep commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, ensuring a client-first approach in all interactions.
