Procurement Manager

NonStop's Client is looking for a Procurement Manager to join a Central Government Body. This opportunity will offer you stability through the current challenging market, as it is a 12 month Hybrid contract position.

This is a superb opportunity for someone wanting to work within the Nuclear Environment which is highly regulated.

As a Procurement Manager you will develop and implement Category Strategy for specific categories, balancing short and long-term objectives to meet business strategy and efficiencies (savings) in alignment with business stakeholders.
Support and execute strategic sourcing activities in line with approved category strategy and preferred suppliers list, including the execution of the RFx process, supplier evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, business award and contract handover to the business, in compliance with the business requirements

Minimum Requirement:

  • Procurement Manager
  • Procurement experience
  • Worked in regulated procurement.
  • MAJOR procurement
  • High level complex construction procurement
  • NEC contracts
  • Setting up NEC contracts - NEC 3 or NEC 4
  • PCR REGULATIONS

An Active Clearance is required for this role.
