Description
As Manufacturing Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes and systems
- Analyse manufacturing process flows for enhancement of quality, cost reduction, and throughput
- Collaborate with design engineering regarding product tooling and design
- Estimate production costs and effect of product design changes for management review
- Implement process control systems to meet production requirements and standards
- Plan and establish sequence of operations to fabricate and assemble products
- Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace
- Coordinate with equipment vendors to ensure satisfactory system performance
Profile
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing systems and procedures
- Proficient in CAD software and data analysis
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
