We are delighted to offer a chance to join our exceptional Digital team, part of our CMO function. In this role you will be working across multiple digital platforms, including web, app and express. The successful candidate will be at the heart of our digital and marketing product strategies and responsible for executing any changes across our digital estates. This role also involves spearheading our digital expansion into international markets, thus reinforcing our position as a global coffee leader.

A bit about the role...

Day to day, your role will be to lead global content development and optimisation across multiple platforms. Additionally you will be responsible for:

  • Marketing activity: working with different internal teams within the UK and international markets to execute campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
  • Optimisation: Increasing the traffic into our digital platforms and improve our rankings across key word search and content.
  • Content creation: Increasing the engagement of our key content created to promote moments for our customers.
  • Technical Debt: Working with the Digital Technology team to decrease technical debt
  • Sustainability: Improve the sustainability of our digital platforms.
  • Market Expansion: Successfully launch Costa's digital products and experiences (websites, apps, campaigns) in new international markets within set timelines and budgets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster improved collaboration with other teams as measured by team surveys or specific cross-functional project outcomes.
  • Innovation: Working with the design and product teams to deliver new digital features or enhancements that improve user experience and engagement.
  • Accessibility: Ensure all our platforms meet WCAG AA Standards.

  • Digital Expertise: Proven experience in product management, with a focus on digital platforms and CMS. A strong understanding of customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies across various digital channels.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to design and implement a strategic vision that aligns with business goals. Proficient in analysing complex situations and producing clear strategic solutions.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good grasp of technical concepts and ability to converse with technical teams, ensuring smooth product development and launch.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in using analytics and consumer insights to drive decision-making. Experience with tools such as Google/Adobe Analytics, SessionCam, Hotjar, UXCam or other similar platforms.
  • International Business Acumen: Experience in global digital expansion strategies, understanding the dynamics and challenges of different markets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and inspiring teams towards achieving their goals. Ability to manage and lead staff.

Location: Remote contract with the ability to come to the London office a minimum of twice per week.
