£45,000 to £50,000 PER ANNUM DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
People Solutions are looking for a Financial Controller for our client based in Newport.

Day to Day Duties
- You will be responsible for the finance department and reporting directly into the Managing Director
- Taking ownership, producing timely and accurate management accounts for a number of different sites
- Integrating newly acquired businesses and new developments into the trading company
- The successful candidate will be required to work with each site to ensure accurate reporting
- You will have a positive approach to the finance department
- Full production of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary
- Prepare company budgets, forecasts and cash flow
- Reconcile balance sheet
- Control of fixed asset register
- Responsible for payroll and pensions
- Oversee Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Credit control and debt management
- Complete all HMRC return including VAT and other statutory returns
- Leadership and management of two team members
Essential Skills
- Fully Qualified accountant with at least three years' experience
- ACCA, AAT (level 4), CIMA, ICAEW qualification preferred
- Solid Technical Background
- Able to use Microsoft office packages : Word, Excel
- A hands-on approach, positive attitude, team player
- Good Communication Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable Experience
- Experience of Quick Books
- Management of Staff
