Commercial Analyst

Are you commercially minded with experience working within a Travel Management Company?

This global Travel Management company is seeking a Commercial Analyst with experience in data driven analysis, reporting, and forecasting, while helping to develop a world-class supplier revenue business framework.

DUTIES:

  • Track and analyse air, accommodation and transport sales performances.
  • Using Power BI for data reporting to provide analytical support for contract negotiations, business reviews, budgeting and forecasts.
  • Research and collect data to complete financial modeling to support new contracts and understand impacts to the business.
  • Identify, size and prioritize opportunities according to revenue potential, making recommendations relating to key projects.
  • Collaborate with European and Global leadership on various projects, including periodic performance reviews - covering financial and non-financial metrics.
  • Work independently with little to no supervision; proactively taking full ownership of key analytics & projects.
  • Prepare effective PowerPoint presentations for meetings with supplier partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Work with other disciplines (product management, operations, account management and various business owners) for implementing automated analytic and performance technology solutions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Experience within a Travel Management Company
  • 3+ years in an analytical role
  • Experience in modeling, analysis, research and presentation creation.
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Expert level knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other analytic tools.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with experience operating in cross-functional teams and communicating with senior managers and executives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving them to completion.
  • Proven track record independently defining and executing key analyses and developing specific solutions to increase business performance.
