Bought Ledger Clerk
This is an exciting opportunity for a Bought Ledger Clerk to join a company based in Loughton on a full time, permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm. This is a fully office-based role with free parking.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Overseeing payment enquiries from suppliers and surveyors
- Ensuring that supplier invoice pricing and delivery quantities and in agreement with company orders
- Matching delivery tickets to the correct purchase orders and purchase invoices
- Ensuring that purchase invoices are processed within the correct time frames
- Managing payment queries from suppliers and customers
- Issuing supplier statements
- Maintaining checks on bank details
- Price checking invoices to purchase orders, ensuring they are accurate
- Approving invoices that have been matched for quantity and price
- Keeping the database update to date for supplier account details and statements
- Sending and franking post for the Accounts Department
- Providing ad-hoc support tasks as required
Candidate requirements:
- Ideally you will have experience within the Construction industry
- Experience working in a Bought Ledger or Purchase Ledger role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
