Driver Hire Leeds West are currently working along several reputable logistics companies based within the Leeds area to recruit a number HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to join their various teams.
We are looking for drivers with experience who would be happy to work on either a full time, part time or ad-hoc basis. However, reliability is paramount.
We often find ourselves having to cover shifts at the last minute, so a degree of flexibility is asked of all our drivers for us to be able to cover all our available shifts.
Therefore, you must be able to communicate clearly with our consultants regarding your availability for work. It's imperative we know who is available and when in case a last-minute shift becomes available.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness.
- Hook up loaded trailers and transport freight to designated destinations.
- Return with different freight as needed.
Requirements :
- Valid UK Class 1 or Class 2 license, CPC Card & Digi Card.
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving goods vehicles.
Compensation :
Our Payrates start at £16.81ph for Class 1 and £15.24ph for Class 2 work, however, more can be earned with overtime weekends rates exceeding £19.61 for Class 1 and £18.27 for Class 2.
These rates include Holiday Pay upfront.
We operate our own payroll too, so you won't be shortchanged by those pesky Umbrella Companies.
