Location: Sheffield

Salary: £50,000 per annum + excellent benefits package

HR Advisor – The Role:

As the HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in working closely with other HR team members to deliver best-in-class HR Services. You will be overseeing the operational side of the HR department, ensuring that all HR processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives. This role plays a crucial part in managing Payroll, HR systems, data and compliance.

You will be people-focused, collaborative, professional and always looking to learn and innovate. You will drive innovation and change by leading on process overhaul, flexible benefits and gender pay gap reports to further support the execution of our HR strategy.

HR Advisor – Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage & optimise HR workflows across the business to support objectives
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of current HR processes to identify and implement improvements
  • Work closely with other departments across the company to support their operational needs
  • Act as an escalation point for all HR support questions or issues
  • Manage the HR information system (Sage People) and other HR technologies to ensure accurate data collection, storage, and reporting
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement within the organisation
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects, support the rollout of new global policies and initiatives
  • Responsible for monthly HR/Payroll reconciliation and audits
  • Oversee new joiner integration and ensure the onboarding process is smooth and efficient for all new hires into the business
  • Managing the HR support team

HR Advisor – Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organisation and work collaboratively with different departments
  • Ability to develop and implement HR initiatives and programs that support the organisational strategy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the role

HR Advisor – Experience and Qualifications:

  • Ideally hold a bachelor's degree in HR, business or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in HR operations, with a proven track record in managing an HR shared services model in a complex organization
  • Experience managing payroll alongside the outsourced provider
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR process improvement and lead change in a fast-paced -environment
  • Experience in professional services or a corporate business
