We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team, working on key technology functions within a prestigious organisation with a rich history. This role involves managing change projects, particularly within the Commercial IT and Central Functions team, and requires a professional with a strong background in stakeholder management and project delivery.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead and deliver change projects effectively, ensuring objectives are met within time and budget constraints.
  • Engage with challenging stakeholders, utilising strong people management skills to navigate complex interactions.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with a broad audience, maintaining high standards of written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrate resilience and drive, maintaining progress and resolving issues with a calm and measured approach.
  • Employ good delegation and negotiation skills to manage project tasks and stakeholder expectations.
  • Apply commercial acumen and value-driven supplier management to maximise project outcomes.
  • Provide technical knowledge and support to the project team, facilitating issue resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Innovate and problem-solve creatively, contributing to the continuous improvement of project processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Worked in HR projects and has HR domain experience.
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering change projects.
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Resilience, persistence, and a calm approach to challenging situations.
  • Commercial awareness and effective supplier management.
  • Good technical understanding to support project teams.
  • Experience with traditional and modern software/IT development lifecycles (Agile, Iterative, Waterfall).
  • Desirable: Experience with SAP projects, Agile/Lean frameworks (SCRUM, KANBAN, XP), Continuous Improvement, and tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management, and MS Office.
